About us

Systemfive® Ltd.’s history

Systemfive® is headquartered in the D4 Business Village in Root D4 (Canton of Lucerne) in Switzerland, and has subsidiaries in the USA, the United Arab Emirates and Japan. This broad support across several locations makes our 24/7 support to clients possible without major additional costs.

The company was founded in 2008 as a private limited company (GmbH) and became a public limited company at the end of 2010. Since June 2011, Systemfive® Ltd. has been an integral part of Systemfive® Holding Ltd.

In October 2012, Systemfive® achieved a milestone in terms of security: the entire company received ISO certificate 27001 for Information Security Management Systems. Since 2012, there has also been a partnership with ICT service provider Green Datacenter Ltd., which operates one of the most certified data processing centers in Europe. Green Datacenter Ltd. also holds ISO certification 27001 whereby the whole range of Systemfive® services is structured according to strict security and availability guidelines.

Systemfive® Ltd.’s market is not limited to Switzerland: from the very beginning, Systemfive® Ltd. also aimed at international jobs. Systemfive® Ltd.’s customer base includes medium-sized companies, major international corporations as well as the Swiss Federal government.

From the idea to success

Systemfive® Ltd. specializes in developing reliable and highly available solutions for its clients. Projects are always processed to meet deadlines even in tough conditions to meet customers’ exacting demands from their IT. Thanks to the development of services and the very personal contact between clients and Systemfive®, the best solution for the company is rapidly identified and implemented without any loss of existing services for the client. With us, the client always receives a custom solution, fully tailored to the relevant infrastructure. We think IT should adapt to a company and not the other way around.

Existing IT companies often provide standard products, which usually offer limited interactivity with a client’s existing products and solutions. Since Systemfive®’s founders considered this to be insufficient, the idea was born: "Systemfive® offers customized IT solutions."

Systemfive® can offer everything tailored to the client’s individual needs – from interfaces between existing systems, the analysis and development of existing client IT landscapes and complete redevelopment taking future technologies into account, through to complete outsourcing in our modern data processing center.

To keep this heterogeneous IT landscape functioning smoothly, a flexible, proactive and reliable monitoring solution is required to keep an eye on "everything", i.e. hardware, operating system and applications and alert the operator responsible. This has resulted in a further Systemfive® idea: the "Hifive" monitoring product.
