Online backup

Data backup is implemented online via the internet. Stored data are accessed by user name and password. An incremental data backup system is often used to keep data transmission as short as possible whereby only new or modified data are backed-up (or copied).

Procedure

Based on a company’s specific, initial situation, we determine storage requirements throughout the company. Existing storage infrastructure is included accordingly in the new storage concept and custom recommendations are compiled for the strategic inclusion of online backups.

The form of data transmission must also be taken into account for security reasons. It is recommended that data to be transmitted locally on your own server are encrypted prior to transmission to the online backup.
