Procedure

A license audit includes the following steps:

  • Software inventory:
    All software installed is identified and listed in a database.
  • License inventory:
    All current licenses are identified and listed in a database.
  • Compliance check:
    The software inventory is harmonized with the license inventory.

Access to the IT infrastructure must be guaranteed to permit the tasks listed above.
